Dr. Schabort graduated in 2009 at University of Pretoria, Onderstepoort Veterinary Faculty.
He worked for 2 years at a 80% wildlife and 20% small animal mixed practice in Brits after completing his studies; thereafter he spent the following 2 years at an Equine Production practice in Kwa-Zulu Natal before joining WAHG in 2013.
His specific interests in the Veterinary field are Equine Reproduction, Wildlife and Acupuncture.
He enjoys golf, polo cross, hiking and spending time with his family in his spare time.
